They say the third times the charm. Well for, some teams that may hold true while for others they’ll feel another strikeout.
If you like drama and scandal then look no further between the battle that will take place between Georgia and South Carolina. In an unconventional match the Dawgs are seeing their rivals not in the season opener but in he third week. Steve Spurrier who is 0-1 in the SEC knows the importance of this game for the SEC East.
The Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech match is long awaited for those in "The Peach State." This is the first time the Eagles will meet the Yellow Jackets. Gerogia Tech coach Paul Johnson will play his old school he coached for as he takes on Georgia Southern.
Penn State traveling to Rutgers will be a game all eyes will be on, after the NCAA lifted the sanctions on the Nittany Lions' and restored their eligibility for postseason play effective immediately. This Big Ten conference game ,will be the first glimpse of Big Ten play for the Scarlet Knights, after playing Washington State in their season opener and Howard last week. Both schools are undefeated so expect an epic showdown.
Besides the above games, the game we’re most excited about of course is the Terrapins taking on the West Virginia Mountaineers Saturday at noon.
Thanks to Luke Zimmerman at Land-Grant Holy Land for the table.
