Two out of three pundits peg the Terps as the surprise team in the B1G East.  Maryland could be the 3rd best team in the division, and  "from a talent standpoint, the Terps are loaded."

Most attention has been paid to other position battles, such as tight end, offensive guard/tackle, and running back.  The Terps linebacking core is strong, and Yannick Ngakoue could challenge Yannick Cudjoe-Virgil for his starting spot.  According to the Sun's Matt Zenitz, Ngakoue put Damien Prince on his back during one-on-one drills today.
