The Maryland Terrapins open their 2014 season in College Park at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday by taking on the James Madison Dukes.
The game will be Maryland's first as a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Terps have won 10 straight home openers and will be looking for their fourth straight season-opening win under coach Randy Edsall.
The Dukes and the Terps have met just twice before, with Maryland winning both games. The most recent meeting was in 2009 when the Terrapins won 38-35 in overtime.
The 2014 Maryland team returns a plethora of offensive weapons, most notably quarterback C.J. Brown, wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Deon Long, and running back Brandon Ross. Last season, Brown became the first Maryland quarterback to throw for 2,000 or more yards and rush for 500 or more yards in a single season.
Diggs and Long return to the field for the first time since both sustained a broken leg during the Terps game against Wake Forest last October.
