How'd She Get to College Park?

Berman, a top 25 recruit on both ESPNHS Top 150 and IMG Academy’s Top 150 was one of the first big recruiting coups for head coach Jonathan Morgan. In addition to leading her team to three straight league titles and winning three league MVP awards, she holds her school record for goals with 136 and points with 180. A three sport athlete who also played basketball and ran track, Berman won a state championship in the mile. She chose Maryland over Virginia, Yale and Providence.

Scored a goal and added two assists in her first college game.

Dream Season:

Moves into the slot vacated by Haley Brock as Maryland’s leading scorer while being named all B1G.

2014 Prospectus:

Berman was highly regarded coming out of  high school and showed flashes of her potential early on. Though only a sophomore, and very different in both size and style of play from the departed Haley Brock and Ashley Spivey, expect Berman to have a significant role in Maryland’s offense. The Terps will need to replace their top two goal scorers from last season and Berman is a prime candidate to be in the mix of those players.
