The Big Ten Network released its men's soccer schedule on Tuesday and Maryland will appear in four of the network's ten featured games. The Terps' first appearance will happen when the Michigan State Spartans come to College Park on September 19. The Spartans finished third in conference play last season with a 3-2-1 record. Their 14-6-3 season ended in the NCAA Tournament round of eight where they fell to eventual national champion Notre Dame by a 2-1 final.
Maryland will make their next appearance just over two weeks later when they travel to Evanston for a Sunday game at Northwestern.This will mark the first of three consecutive Sunday afternoon broadcasts that will feature Maryland. After the game on the fifth of October at Northwestern, the network will also pick up Penn State's visit to Maryland on the twelfth and the Terps' trip to Bloomington to face Indiana on the nineteenth.
Both conference semifinal games as well as the conference championship game are also on the schedule. Here's the full schedule as released:
