Stefon Diggs was named to the Big Ten Writers' preseason 2014 All-Big Ten team, recording yet another preseason award for the junior wide receiver.
Diggs was the only Maryland player named to the team, but kicker Brad Craddock (2), defensive lineman Andre Monroe (1), and defensive back Will Likely (1) also received votes.
Diggs has already been named to the preseason watch lists for the Maxwell, Hornung, Biletnikoff, and Walter Camp awards,
Diggs has averaged 16.3 yards per reception while catching 88 passes for 1,435 yards during his career in College Park. Last season, he suffered a season-ending leg injury in a game against Wake Forest, limiting his offensive numbers as a sophomore. Despite that, Diggs is still poised to break several Maryland receiving records this season, the Terrapins' first as a members of the Big Ten.
