Football recruit Isaiah Prince 'very high' on Maryland, coach says -
“We haven’t had that conversation,” [Eleanor Roosevelt head coach Tom] Green said in a phone interview. “But just from his comments and talking to him, I would think he would pick Maryland if he had to make a decision today.”

Randy Edsall: Terps 'not in a basketball conference anymore' -
Randy Edsall had a parting shot for the ACC on his way to the Big Ten, calling it a 'basketball conference.' Lots of people made fun of him for this, and rightly so. It's not a great idea to throw jabs at a conference wherein you posted a 6-18 record in three seasons, but he's not exactly wrong. The Big Ten does have a bigger focus on football than the ACC does, and while the Terps' old conference has some big-time football powers, basketball still runs deep through Tobacco Road.
