Randy Edsall and Maryland football have been on quite the run recently, grabbing more than a dozen commits in the past two months and generally killing it on the recruiting trail.
Mark Turgeon might have been getting jealous.

So, um.
#Terps/Ranson began recruiting Stone a few yrs ago while in Wisc. for Cinmeon Bowers. He's in high demand, but had glowing comments on UMD.

Okay!
Stone is a massive prospect, rated as a consensus five-star recruit as well as the consensus top center in the nation. Standing at 6'10" and weighing in at 246 pounds, he attends Dominican High School in Milwaukee and is also considering Duke, Kansas, Michigan State and Wisconsin. He's rated as the fifth-best player in the nation by the 247sports composite, and Maryland just being in the conversation this late is a huge success for the coaching staff.
This news comes on the heels of news that four-star local point guard Kevin Dorsey would be announcing between Maryland, Nebraska and Minnesota soon.
I'll just shut up now so you can watch this.
