While most of the world is focused on which NBA team LeBron James will be playing for next season, Maryland fans will be excited to learn that senior guard Dez Wells has been selected to participate in James' Skills Academy in Las Vegas this week.

Wells is one of 32 college players participating in the event. He's joined by B1G foes DJ Newbill (Penn State), Sam Dekker (Wisconsin) and Aaron White (Iowa).
As InsideMarylandSports points out, Wells will also be joined by several of Maryland's top 2015 recruiting targets, including four-star power forward Esa Ahmad (Cleveland, OH), four-star shoot guard Malik Beasley (Alpharetta, GA), and four-star shooting guard Prince Ali, who decommitted from UConn a few months ago.
The event should be a great opportunity for Wells to show off his talents and gain some experience against some of college basketball's best talent.
The event will be taking place from July 9th-12th.
