The Terrapins join the Big Ten with (potentially) their best team in a few seasons

Local Iowa newspaper The Gazette previews Maryland as a B1G opponent, from a B1G perspective.  Iowa has some concerns in their secondary, and can be a one dimensional run based team on offense.  They praise Maryland for speed and experience, but note that the schedule does the Terps no favors.  I think they are trying to make some friends though, given the think, "the Terps could be favored at State College."

Maryland Terrapins — 2014 Syracuse Football preview

Local Syracuse media outlet The Juice has a preview of the Maryland-Syracuse game.  The Juice is a little less modest than The Gazette, however.  "The Orange dominated the Terrapins in the way to a 20-3 win at Maryland last year.  There's no reason why SU can't do something similar at home.  Syracuse 35, Maryland 31." How interesting that a 4 point win counts as dominating like they did last year.
