NFL Draft 2014: Start time, TV Schedule and open thread

New, comments

Hey, the NFL draft is tonight. Let's talk about how Diggs and Long are both going to be first round picks next year.

Jerry Lai-US PRESSWIRE

Tonight, after weeks of debates and 20 different versions of everyone's own mock draft, the NFL draft finally gets started. And while the likelihood of a Maryland player being selected tonight is about the same as the Terps rejoining the ACC, we can still talk about who gets drafted, which NFL team makes the most questionable decision, and where Maryland players like Stefon Diggs will get drafted in the future. For example, here is a great story the Vox.com folks did talking about how so many NFL teams don't draft in the most efficient way.

Everything gets underway tonight at 8:00 P.M. from Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Houston Texans will be on the clock first, where most are predicting they'll take Jadeveon Clowney. But who knows, maybe a last second trade will come along and Houston will trade out of the number one spot. Who is the top rated player in your eyes? Who would you most want on your favorite NFL team?
