Maryland Lacrosse Game Thread: Terps vs Navy

Maryland wraps up their regular season back at home for the first time on over a month, as they look to seal a home NCAAT game, when they take on Navy

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Both teams have something on the line in this one, but for different reasons. With a win, Maryland wraps up a home game in the NCAA Tournament, seed to be determined. A loss, and the Terps stare down going on the road for the First Round. For the Midshipmen, they've come inches away from big wins vs fellow in-state rivals Loyola and Johns Hopkins, and want to finish the job this time and get a win over another in-state rival, Maryland. And for the Navy seniors, and this is a senior-laden squad, they want one more great moment before they go and do something much bigger than playing college lacrosse: serve our country.

If you haven't already (here's my lone shameless plug) here's my preview for today's game: Maryland vs Navy lax preview

Maryland enters at 10-3, #7 in the media poll, and #8 in the coaches poll. Navy enters at 4-9.

While Navy's record doesn't standout, they do have a very good defense, and will provide a difficult test for a Maryland team looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to Notre Dame last Friday night, and looking to get the offense revved up again before the NCAA Tournament next weekend. And the Midshipmen are playing for pride and looking for one eye-catching W on an up and down season.

So how about some predictions?
