Basketball:
Andrew talked about this in his great roundup this past weekend, but it looks like all worries on the Trayvon Reed/Michal Cekovsky front can melt away -- sources told us Cekovsky will be coming to College Park and Reed will likely qualify to play this upcoming season.
Also mentioned in Andrew's roundup, but worth mentioning again here: Maryland has offered YouTube sensation Noah Blackwell, a two-star 2015 point guard out of Roseville (Calif.) with crazy handles and offers from Long Beach State, Loyola Marymount and Oregon State.
Four-star 2015 power forward Esa Ahmad, who recently picked up an offer from Ohio State, is set to visit College Park Friday.
Highly touted 2015 big man Georgios Papagiannis will take an official visit to Maryland, IMS is reporting.
Football:
First things first, four-star Damascus athlete Jalen Christian will make his commitment announcement at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at his high school, choosing between South Carolina, Maryland, Kentucky, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
Christian is rumored to be favoring South Carolina and is widely expected to pledge to the Gamecocks., who recently picked up a commitment from four-star quarterback Lorenzo Nunez. Maryland is solidly in the running right behind.
New offers from the Terps:
- Three-star Texas safety P.J. Locke, who has offers from Baylor, Georgia, Arizona State, Notre Dame, Oregon and Stanford, among others.
- Illinois defensive tackle Wesley Annan, who has offers from Ball State, Central Michigan, Syracuse, Toledo and Western Michigan.

Hatchling Huddle
Hatchling Huddle
Maryland target Ayron Monroe committed to Penn State, taking the Terps' probable top safety prospect off their board. That leaves Jameel Cook (whom we have talked to) as probably the main guy at the position.
Four-star quarterback Kai Locksley tweeted he's visiting College Park Thursday.
Blue-chip 2016 Bullis quarterback Dwayne Haskins visited College Park. Haskins also picked up an offer from Wisconsin this week.
Three-star DeMatha athlete Tyler Green picked up an offer from Virginia.
Virginia Beach offensive tackle Blake Camper picked up offers from Miami and NC State.
Three-star Bishop McNamara cornerback Ashton White picked up an offer from Iowa.
