Maryland football schedule: Kickoff times, TV schedule announced for Iowa, Wisconsin games

The Terps' homecoming game and a big road trip will both be on noon kick-offs on national TV.

More details of Maryland's inaugural Big Ten schedule were released today, as the school announced kick-off times and TV affiliations for two of the Terps' bigger conference games this season in a press release.

Maryland's games against Iowa and Wisconsin will both kick-off at 12 p.m. ET, with both games broadcast on either ESPN/ABC or the Big Ten Network. The bigger piece of news, of course, is the kick-off time, as the channel information is basically announcing "this game could be on any channel Big Ten games are on."

The Terrapins' game against the Hawkeyes is also the 2014 homecoming game in College Park, and will be played on October 18. A noon kick-off for the homecoming game isn't exactly ideal, but Maryland already has a primetime matchup on their schedule against Michigan State.

The matchup against Wisconsin takes place the following weekend, on October 25, and will be a tough road trip for the Terrapins. The two games are a part of a rough six-game stretch that sees Maryland play Ohio State, Iowa, at Wisconsin, at Penn State, Michigan State and at Michigan.

Exact television affiliates will be announced either 12 days or six games before each game.
