For those who haven't seen, Alex Kline is reporting Seth Allen has requested a transfer.
A source says Maryland sophomore Seth Allen has asked for his release from the program.

Mark Turgeon has denied it, but he has done this before.
Text from Mark Turgeon on Seth Allen asking for his release: "Not correct."

Granted, he said something similar when rumors about Nick Faust popped up. Doesn't mean it might not happen, but it hasn't.

We have elected not to report on this yet, as Kline is not a fully reliable source, but we wanted to give you guys a forum to talk about this news. Obviously, it would be terrible, and leave Maryland with three scholarship guards next season -- not an ideal situation by any means.
Despair away!
Update, from Adam Zagoria.
Maryland coach Mark Turgeon says by text that Seth Allen & Charles Mitchell are "going through a process" and he's "not sure" of transfer

Update, from Don Markus of the Sun:
Despite those denials, Allen recently told several teammates that he was leaving the program, two sources said. After meeting with Turgeon following the season, Allen also questioned whether his role was going to change next season.
