Maryland Minute: 4.22.14 - Kenny Johnson headed to Louisville

Whelp. That stinks. The question now is who is plan B? Here is a look at potential candidates we wrote up last week.

Updated contract information released for Terps football coaches
Thanks for a FOIA request, we now know the new contract details for each of Maryland's assistant coaches. Both Locksley ($625,000) and Brian Stewart ($417,650) received multi-year extensions and big raises. Also, Locksley's bonuses for recruiting class rankings now include 247sports, along with Rivals and Scout. If the Terps finish in the top 40 according to all three of those services' class rankings, he'll receive $25,000. If they're top 4 or better among B1G schools, he gets another $20,000. That puts some pressure on Kai Locksley, Mike's son, who is one of the most sought after QBs in the 2015 class. Choosing the Terps could help get his Dad/family $45,000.
