McDonald's All-America Game 2014: Game time, TV schedule, preview and more

For the first time in a long time, Maryland will have a future player in the McDonald's All-America game. Here's how to watch, the schedule of events and more.

247 Sports

It's hard to believe that the last time Maryland had a men's player in the McDonalds All-American game was over 10 years ago, when Mike Jones (who?) participated in the event in 2003. That streak will finally end on April 2nd, when Romelo Trimble, a 6-2 point guard out of Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, VA, will participate in the game as a future Maryland player.

Trimble also participate in the three point shooting contest on Monday, but didn't win or place among the top three in the event. But most people will be interested to see how Trimble does as a point guard, as most expect him to be the eventual starting point guard for a Maryland team that struggled at the position over the past several seasons. But Trimble is also a legit scoring threat, so be sure to keep an eye on the various ways he can score.

Trimble will be playing on the same team with two players he'll be facing off against in the B1G next season; guards James Blackmon Jr. (Indiana) and D'Angelo Russell (Ohio State). Here's a complete breakdown of the East's roster.
