The Maryland Terrapins are shooting for a fourth Final Four berth in the school's history, the last one coming in 2006 en route to a National Championship. The crowd will be a sea of red, just not the kind the Terps enjoyed in the tournament's first two rounds on their home floor in College Park .
The regional final will be played in Louisville, meaning Cardinals fans will be in full force. But so will Alyssa Thomas, as the senior ACC Player of the Year is coming off a career-high 33 points in a win against No. 1 seed Tennessee on Sunday.
The numbers
Rankings and records: The No. 4-seeded Terps (27-6, 12-4 ACC) finished the regular season tied for second in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Maryland is 1-1 all-time against Louisville, beating them in their last meeting in the 2012 NCAA Second Round in College Park.
Vegas: The Cardinals are a 5.5 point favorite
