Stumbling back to College Park after a heartbreaking double-overtime defeat to Clemson on Sunday, the Terrapins should find some comfort in facing conference-worst Virginia Tech Tuesday night.
Led by Dez Wells' 19 points, Maryland shot 51.8 percent during their first meeting with the Hokies on Feb. 1 in Blacksburg, routing the home team 80-60.
The contest will be the first of the final two home games the Terps will play as members of the ACC. Although a March Madness berth seems to be slipping away, a win against Tech could garner some much-needed confidence heading to their final game against No. 5 Virginia before commencing the ACC tournament in Greensboro, N.C.
