Maryland vs. Florida State: Game time, TV schedule, live radio streaming, odds and more

After an embarrassing 24-point loss in Tallahassee in January, the Terps look to get some revenge and their ACC record above .500, as they welcome Florida State to College Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Terps suffered a good ol' fashioned beatdown when they went on the road to play the Seminoles on January 12, losing 85-61, in a game that was never in question, as the home team entered the locker room at halftime with a 20-point lead. Maryland will now look to return the favor, in front of their home crowd this time, as they get set for a rematch this Saturday at the Comcast Center.

In that previous meeting, the Terps shot just 33 percent from the field and an abysmal 16 percent from beyond the arc. You would have to think that those numbers can only improve in the comfort of their home court. But Florida State's defense was not an aberration in that game. The Seminoles only allow 63.5 points per game and have been playing a stingy style of defense for the past several years now, under coach Leonard Hamilton.

Can the basketball team shock Florida State with a blowout win on Saturday? The close numbers across the board would suggest, no. Identical records in the ACC would suggest...no. But Maryland's overall dominance in the all-time series between these two teams would suggest...maybe? One thing is for sure, both teams could desperately use this win.

The numbers

Rankings and records: Neither team is ranked and their records are very similar. Florida State is currently 14-8 (5-5 ACC) and Maryland is 13-10 (5-5). The Terps lead the all-time series 29-14.

Vegas: Maryland is a four-point favorite.
