Maryland reached out to long-snapper Nate Adams with a full scholarship on the table in December, and after committing to the Terps just four day later, has signed his letter of intent with the school.

Originally from across the country in Phoenix, Arizona, Adams will graduate from Greenway High School, and shortly after, move his life to the East Coast. Adams can expect to have time on the field with concerns of lack of experience facing current long-snappers Christian Carpenter, Will Rosenblum and Joe Marchese after the departure of senior Greg Parcher.
According to his 247sports composite, Adams is a two-star prospect as well as the fifth best long snapper in his class and the 62nd-best in the state of Arizona. His talent, and most likely his academics as well, caught the attention of the Air Force, which also extended an offer to the long-snapper.
