Up until recently, the Syracuse Orange were perfect. The Big East transfer began the season 25-0, claiming the third-best start in Atlantic Coast Conference history. However, Jim Boeheim's team will head into the Comcast Center Monday night in the middle of a two-game skid after losing to Boston College and Duke last week. The Terps look to kick a top-tier program while they're down and boost their resume in the process.
Maryland is coming off a 70-61 win against Wake Forest on Tuesday, led by Nick Faust's career-high 20 points. Despite five days to prepare, the Terps will face a tall task against one of college basketball's best defenses. Syracuse has kept opponents to an average of 58.6 points per game so far this season.
