What Maryland fans are thankful for this Thanksgiving

We'v got a lot to be thankful for this year.

Happy Thanksgiving from everyone here at Testudo Times. We hope you're enjoying Thursday with your family and friends and continuing to soak in the joy of that sweet victory over Iowa State. Speaking of that victory, Maryland fans sure do have a lot to be thankful for this season. Let's take a look at what we're really appreciative of this Thanksgiving.

A good football team succeeding in the B1G!

Maryland is 7-4, have the chance to go 8-4 in the regular season and won on the road at Penn State and in the Big House against Michigan. So much for Maryland not being able to compete in the Big Ten. We're really thankful for that.

Two really good basketball teams!

We've always been really appreciative of how well Brenda Frese and her teams have done, especially while the men's team has gone through a bit of a dry spell. But now it appears, for the first time in a while, both team are going to be good this season. And the football team is also good. Is this a dream?

Kevin Plank and Under Armour

We're so thankful for you, Kevin, and for your awesome company and amazing Maryland Pride uniforms.

A new indoor facility for football

Speaking of Kevin Plank, Maryland fans are super, mega thankful for his contribution to the school's newly proposed indoor football facility. I can thankfully stare at renders of this facility for days.

Jim Delany & the B1G & their $$$

And of course that new indoor facility probably won't be possible if it weren't for the generous additional revenue Maryland will be receiving by joining the Big Ten Conference this year. I think we can all say we're very thankful to be part of this great new conference and the millions and millions of dollars that come along with it.

Thanks for the invite, Jim!

B1G Titles

Maryland is winning them and we're thankful. And we're really thankful they're winning B1G titles, despite so many people saying the school would never be able to compete in the B1G. Sorry, it's hard to hear you over ALL THE SUCCESS WE'RE HAVING.
