Check out the top plays from the Terps season opener

Note: The highlight video is above, where the picture usually is. TerpsTV is...finicky, so you may have trouble, especially on a mobile device.

Maryland played its season opener against Wagner on Friday night, blowing out the Seahawks 82-48. Dez Wells was the leading scorer for the Terps with 18 points, despite sustaining an ankle sprain in the first half.

Jake Layman added 16 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and Melo Trimble scored 13 in his collegiate debut. Together, Maryland's four freshman combined for 29 points.

Among the highlights, you'll see a lot of smooth shooting, several drives by Wells, aggressive play (including a big Tomahawk dunk) by Layman, a dunk and block by Michal Cekovsky and a nice baby hook shot by Damonte Dodd.
