A couple of lineup and injury notes on Saturday's Maryland football game against Michigan State, via The Diamondback's Daniel Popper:
- Running back Wes Brown will start over Brandon Ross in the Maryland backfield. Backup Albert Reid is still out with a knee injury and will miss his sixth game in a row.
- As Jeremiah Johnson continues to recover from a hamstring injury, safety Sean Davis will again start at cornerback for Maryland, a position where he debuted two weeks ago at Penn State. Johnson will be available and play in nickel packages. Zach Dancel will take Davis's place at safety for the Terrapins.
- As expected, outside linebacker Matt Robinson – who had missed two consecutive games with a shoulder injury – will slide back into Maryland's lineup on defense.
- Long-snapper Christian Carpenter is back, and he will handle snaps for Brad Craddock field goal and extra point attempts. On punts, Nate Adams will continue to snap to Nathan Renfro.
Sean Davis starts at corner for 2nd game. Jeremiah Johnson (hamstring) still limited but will play nickel. Zach Dancel starts at safety.
