How to watch Maryland vs. San Francisco State: Game guide, TV schedule, streaming, odds

The Terps take the court for the first time in a game against players not also under scholarship at the University of Maryland! But this one is an exhibition and doesn't count!

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Maryland Terrapin basketball season (kinda) gets underway with the first of two exhibition games at the Xfinity Center. The San Francisco State...Gators?...really?...okay, the Gators are part of the Division II California Collegiate Athletics Association and wear purple and gold. Thanks wikipedia!

Maryland will probably win and probably by a lot. If they don't, it will be concerning but also not matter at all. Preseason! Dave gave us a few things to watch for during the game. I bet Jon Graham scores 45 and breaks his dad's Terp record.

Could we see some of Jake Layman at the four tomorrow?

Will Saturday's exhibition game give us any indication as to whether Maryland's preseason KenPom ranking of 33rd and or receiving votes in the preseason AP Poll is justified? Hint: probably not.

How to watch

Date and Time: Saturday, November 1st, 2:00 PM ET

Where: Comcast XFINITY Center, College Park, MD

TV: nah

Online Streaming: BTNPlus

So, yeah, that's kinda annoying. To watch this game your going to have to pony up for a subscription to BTNPlus. It's $10 monthly and Maryland plays three games on the service during November - both exhibitions and a regular season tilt again Fordham. That's roughly $3.33 per game, which is like half a Buffalo Chicken Pizza Bagel at Bagel Place. Make your choice.
