Five-star center Diamond Stone has set two of his five official visits, taking trips to Oklahoma State and Maryland in October, Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports is reporting.
Stone plans on visiting Stillwater the weekend of October 10 and College Park the weekend of October 17, which happens to be the date of Maryland Madness. That's also homecoming weekend for Maryland, and the Terps' football team will be taking on Iowa that Saturday.
The other schools in Stone's final five are UConn, Wisconsin and Duke. The 6'10, 246-pound prospect from Dominican (Wisc.) High School is ranked as the fifth-best player in the class of 2015 by the 247sports composite, rating as the top center in the nation. The 247sports Crystal Ball rates UConn and Wisconsin as the two favorites currently.
Stone's lead recruiter at Maryland is assistant coach Bino Ranson. The Terps do not yet have a commitment in the class of 2015, but former blue-chip forward Robert Carter, Jr. will first be eligible that season. Last season, Stone averaged 16.9 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
