How to watch the Terps take on the Fighting Irish

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

After another disappointing loss, Maryland will look to get back on track when they host Notre Dame Wednesday night in a game that features a new ACC foe and new uniforms. The Terps return home having dropped their last two games (at Pittsburgh and Florida State), while the Irish have also lost two in a row (to Georgia Tech and NC State). Notre Dame opened ACC play by knocking off the Duke Blue Devils.

This will be the only match-up between these teams this season.

The numbers

Rankings and records: Neither team is ranked. Maryland is 10-7 (2-2 in the ACC) on the season, while the Fighting Irish are 10-6 (1-2 in the ACC). The last time these two teams faced off was in 2011 in a game the Terrapins won 78-71, but the Irish haven't traveled to College Park since 1986. Notre Dame leads the all-time series 10-9.

Vegas: The Terps are favored by 4.
