Local superstar recruit Jalen Tabor has named the five schools he will take official visits to, and Maryland joins Alabama, Florida, USC and Arizona on that list. Arizona is a bit of a surprise on the list, as Vanderbilt was previously named as one his favorites. No dates have been set, as Tabor tweeted the announcement himself.

Tabor is a five-star cornerback from Friendship Collegiate in DC, where Maryland secured commitments from Yannick Ngakoue, Derwin Gray, Cavon Walker and Jermaine Carter, Jr. last season (and Albert Reid the year before that).
His recruitment has seemingly lasted decades, and Tabor plans to announce his collegiate decision at the Under Armour game (like Wes Brown), which should take place early in 2014.
Maryland has been considered the favorite for Tabor for quite some time now, but the Terps and offensive coordinator Mike Locksley will have to fight off some fierce competition to get him. Besides the obvious prestige of nabbing the consensus best player in DC who is one of the top-five corners and top-twenty prospects in the country, Tabor would fill a positional need for Maryland, as the Terps lose Dexter McDougle and Isaac Goins to graduation this year.
Tabor has unofficially visited Maryland three times in the last two months, and was at the Terps' blowout win over West Virginia in Baltimore Saturday.
