Maryland tries to snap a seven-game losing streak against rival West Virginia this week, and get to play at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore to do it. The Terrapins held their weekly presser on Tuesday, and we were there to catch all the festivities.
We weren't the only ones, however, so here's our Tweetcap -- for those of you not glued to Twitter.
Edsall: "We know we have a tremendous challenge. We haven't beat West Virginia in seven years."

Edsall says players are aware of the losing streak to West Virginia but many of them "had nothing to do with it...that's in the past."

Accessibility, size of city, fact that #Terps are only state FBS school all reasons for game at M&T Bank Stadium, Edsall says.

An update on Dexter McDougle: he had surgery yesterday, which went "very well". May need another surgery tomorrow.

Edsall says if they had everybody practicing the way Will Likely does, they'd be an even better team. Clarifies that's not a knock on others
— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
Edsall went on for a solid 2 minutes, speaking glowingly about freshman CB Will Likely. Says he "plays like a seasoned veteran." #Terps

— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
This is true. RT @alex_prewitt: @testudotimes This does not make sense.
— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
Edsall says Taivon Jacobs is not guaranteed to play this week. Will have to monitor how he performs in practice this week.
— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
What has Edsall learned about the West Virginia rivalry? "Uh, that it's a bordering state, of Maryland."
— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
Edsall: "To me, every team that we play is the best team that we're playing that week. And we have to approach it that way."
— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
Edsall would not answer outright if A.J. Hendy will play at CB. Says they will experiment with different combinations in practice.

— Testudo Times (@testudotimes) September 17, 2013
Brown also talked about the ability of Maryland's second-unit receivers to step up, and spoke of his confidence in Culmer and L. Jacobs.
