Maryland completed their sweep of Bahamian teams this week, winning their third straight game in four days as they defeated the Grand Bahamas All-Stars 88-77 Friday.
Jake Layman continued his excellent tour, scoring a team-high 25 points and hitting five of eight three point attempts. Nick Faust scored 20, Seth Allen scored 15, and five Terrapins were in double-digits.
For Layman, it caps off a fantastic trio of games - Alex Prewitt pointed out his tournament average of 21.3 was higher than his greatest point total last year (20).
The Terps went small, lineup-wise, starting Allen, Faust, Dez Wells, Layman and Evan Smotrycz. Wells and Charles Mitchell were the additional Terrapins with double-digit scoring, with ten and 12 points, respectively.
Workouts resume for the Terrapins September 3.
