Maryland sophomore wide receiver Stefon Diggs can add another to his list of preseason awards and accolades, as Sports Illustrated named him to their Preseason All-American Team as a second-team returner.
Diggs is, unsurprisingly, the only Terp on either the first or second team, and his selection is not surprising as well - he set the conference record for all-purpose yardage by a freshman last season. The first team returner is Marcus Murphy, a junior running back from Missouri who had four return touchdowns last season.
In terms of the conference layout, the ACC has one player on the first team, while the B1G has two. On the second-team, the B1G has four selections, while the ACC has three (including Diggs).
