Yesterday, the men's basketball team played their first exhibition game of the season in the Bahamas. There was no TV or radio feed, but there were live stats coming out of the game...until they froze during the 1st quarter and never resumed. But according to Nick Faust, the team did win the game.

I've also heard that Jake Laymon and Dez Wells had great games, but we still have no stats or other updates from the game. As soon as we do, we'll fill you all in.
Without Wes Brown, Maryland RB competition heats up between Brandon Ross and Albert Reid
Obviously you want to have Brown out there too, but I really think Reid and Ross will be a great job this season.
Top 50 breakout players for 2013 - ESPN
$$$ article, but a Maryland player makes this list, but it's not who you'd expect. Diggs isn't on here (I assume they already consider him a star), but C.J. Brown is at #45.
College football Hot Seat Watch: Lane Kiffin, Kirk Ferentz top coaches with lots on line in 2013 | Campus Union - SI.com
They've got Edsall as kinda hot, but not one of the hottest. They're pretty spot on; if he doesn't deliver this year, he'll likely be in trouble. Also worth noting on this list is Mike Leach.
Terps offense may move from stalled in 2012 to stalwart in 2013 - baltimoresun.com
Maryland's offense could definitely be the strength of this team. Even if the o-line struggles, those struggles should be somewhat minimized by utilizing the zone read. As long as Brown can get the ball in the hands of his play makers or make plays himself, I think the offense has the potential to be great.
Terps' Matt Robinson is healthy and working to learn outside linebacker position - baltimoresun.com
Nice piece on Matt Robinson, who is competing with Alex Twine for a starting spot at outside linebacker.
With no turnover on coaching staff, Maryland football at last enjoys stability
Something that hasn't been talked about much is the lack of staff turnover from last season to this season. Should be huge for this young team, as everything will remain the same playbook and terminology wise.
Inside Lacrosse rates Terps men as having nation's No. 1 recruiting class - baltimoresun.com
The Maryland men's lacrosse team has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, according to Inside Lacrosse's September issue, which ranks the top 20 classes.
One Legged Baseball Player-Adam Bender - YouTube
Not at all Maryland related, but shows you how important sports can be, especially for kids.
