Good news for all complaining about the lack of open practices - Maryland football will be holding its fan appreciation day Saturday, August 17 at 1 p.m. at Byrd Stadium. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m., with season ticketing options available to purchase at that time.
A scrimmage will occur at 1:30 p.m., and Randy Edsall and players will be available to sign autographs on the field afterwards. Maryland football gear like jerseys, cleats, and gloves - game-used - will be available for sale as well.
Parking is available in Lot 1, as it is a weekend. In addition, I will be there, so make sure to say hello (or whatever your preferred form of greeting is).
