Terps unveil White Ops for UNC
In case you missed it, here are the White Ops unis the Terps will be wearing on senior day against UNC.
Turgeon "a little surprised" at Howard's play against Wake
Who wasn't? Turgeon admits that Pe's been "in and out of the doghouse" all year, but he came to play on Saturday and was critical. He's still not going to be a big-time scorer, but you should be able to expect six-to-eight points from him every game, plus quality defense and no-nonsense distribution - not playmaking, as I always hasten to point out - in the halfcourt. That was there against Wake Forest. Let's see if it can be there against UNC, too. -Ben B.
Official: UNC game sold out
No surprise there. Hopefully the place will be rocking. -Ben B.
My take: The snow storm will definitely have an impact on attendance. Not sure I'll be able to get there. I'll have more on this later in a separate piece where I relive the Maryland-Wake snow game of 2003. But as of now, game is on as scheduled.
Jerry Palm: Terps in first four out
I think that's a bit bullish. Virginia, for instance, isn't in the bracket nor in the First Four Out, and I think they have a better resumé than Maryland. Still, if you needed a dose of optimism, here you are. -Ben B.
Speaking of UVA...
We're not the only ones: Virginia loses at Boston College
The Cavs looked nigh-unbeatable there for a spell, but all of a sudden they're looking quite human - and quite bubbly again. -Ben B.
WBB: Alyssa Thomas, Tianna Hawkins make All-ACC team
Well deserved, on both counts. -Ben B.

Clemson, Terps battling for Maryland OL
Justin Falcinelli, who's from Middletown, MD, has offers from a lot of good schools, including PSU and UVA. Seems like the battle is coming down to Terps and Clemson.
100-year-old alumnus, avid Terps fan dies - The Diamondback
Sad news about Stan Lore, a university alumnus and avid athletics fan, who died Wednesday at the age of 100.
Unbelievable Buzzer-Beater - YouTube
You might have seen this buzzer beater, but if not, you need to. Not Maryland related at all, just amazing.
