Recruiting roundup: Two key visitors for Boston College game, new 2014 target

First, basketball:

2015 five-star center Daniel Giddens has received an offer from Indiana.

Now, for football:

Visitors for Maryland's game against Boston College: 2014 three-star offensive tackle Marcus Applefield, 2014 three-star offensive tackle Brock Ruble, 2014 three-star commit Jared Cohen, 2014 three-star commit Josh Woods, 2015 three-star commit E.J. Donahue, 2015 three-star inside linebacker Jake Cooper and 2015 four-star defensive tackle Adam McLean.

Maryland has emerged as a player in the recruitment of four-star 2014 Pennsylvania defensive back Dravon Henry, who is also considering West Virginia and Pittsburgh.

2014 three-star safety Shawn Boone took an official visit to Penn State. So did 2014 three-star outside linebacker Melvin Keihn.

2014 three-star offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor was offered by Nebraska.

Maryland has offered 2016 defensive tackle Rashan Gary, from Scotch Plains (N.J.). He also holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State. He took an unofficial visit to Penn State this week.

2016 offensive tackle Jauan Williams, from Archbishop Carroll, has received an offer from Virginia Tech.
