Maryland vs. Abilene Christian Gamethread

The Terps look to get their first win of the season in their home opener against the Wildcats

Maddie Meyer

After dropping a close game against UConn, Maryland looks to rebound in their home opener against Abilene Christian, a school transitioning to D1 this season. This should pretty much be a tune up game for Maryland, who will host Oregon State on Sunday. It should also provide a good opportunity for Dez Wells to work on his point guard skills, allow freshman Roddy Peters to gain some additional experience, and allow Maryland to be pretty well rested for their match up on Sunday against the Beavers.

Here is our viewing guide if you're trying to watch tonight's game.

We probably won't learn too much from this game, but it is a good way for Maryland to work on some issues they had against UConn and allow them to be better prepared for some of their harder non-conference games on the horizon.

How does Dez Wells do tonight?

How many minutes does Peters play?

Which will be higher - number of points scored by Evan Smotrycz or number of minutes played by Varun Ram?

What's your final score prediction?
