Maryland-Wake Forest score update: Terps getting embarrassed in Winston-Salem, 24-3

Maryland's road woes continue, as the Terps are getting blown out in Winston-Salem. Wake Forest leads 24-3 as Maryland has been outplayed in every way possible.

The Terrapins' third quarter seemed to start out positively, as the Maryland offense drove down the field near the red zone before Deon Long got his leg rolled up on and was carted off the field. Brandon Ross took the next play into the red zone, but Maryland settled for Brad Craddock's 23-yard field goal to make it 10-3.

Maryland was able to force a punt on the ensuing Wake Forest drive, and Albert Reid came in for two quick first downs (one on an 11-yard gain, one on a facemask). On the next play, Brown's play-action pass was intercepted by Merrill Noel and returned into the red zone. The Demon Deacons scored on Tanner Price's touchdown run, making it 17-3.

On Maryland's next drive, Brown threw another interception, this one in triple coverage to A.J. Marshall. That resulted in another Wake Forest touchdown -- a pass from Mike Campanaro to Tanner Price, making it 24-3.
