ACC Player of the year Alyssa Thomas had a double-double (17 points,10 rebounds) and helped Maryland sink Navy in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Comcast on Saturday. Maryland takes on Louisville tonight at 7:10 at Comcast.

Loyola, Md. struggles, falls to Ohio State 78-59 - The Denver Post
In case you didn't see, Ohio State took care of Loyola, winning 78-59. They still had a great season and Jimmy Patsos has done an amazing job there.

Nice overview of what happened in the tournament this weekend. LOL @ Georgetown for another early exit and a shout out to Ohio, which is an awesome school where two of my cousins went.

Who would have thought that the only ACC schools in the Sweet 16 would be NC State and UNC. With UNC dealing with an injury to their point guard and NC State having to play Kansas, there seems to be a good chance that the ACC will only have one team in the Elite Eight.
