Christian Sanders visiting this weekend
I'm not totally in love with Sanders' game to the point that I'll sweat out a commitment like we probably all will with Mitch McGary or Amile Jefferson, but I'd still love to add him to the class. Mark Turgeon seems to really love him, which is enough for me, and the continuous momentum can only be a good thing. Frankly, it sounds a little bit like it might happen this weekend, ala Layman.
Maryland’s A.J. Francis talks West Virginia fans, rivalry and exciting offenses - Terrapins Insider - The Washington Post
Awesome, awesome interview. My favorite quote:
Anytime you put Maryland across your chest, it is a given that you don’t like West Virginia, you don’t like Duke and you don’t like Virginia. That’s what it is and that’s what it is always going to be.

AJ will always be the most entertaining interview on the team. -Me
West Virginia has built a recruiting pipeline to Baltimore, and Randy Edsall would like to interrupt it - Sun
Blah blah blah. Do you like pain?
Of course, Edsall seems pretty upbeat about changing it. So there's that.
Holgorsen aware No. 18 Mountaineers need fast start - Charleston Daily Mail
This sounds promising.
WVU (2-0) has had trouble with that so far this season. Two of the teams' four punts, a missed field goal and a turnover on downs have come in the first quarter. The Mountaineers have scored none of their 10 touchdowns in the first quarter and have been outscored 10-3 overall. "I don't know what the yardage is," Holgorsen said, "but I'm sure we're getting slaughtered on it."
Given that Maryland started so quickly last week, maybe they can take advantage of that.
Shane Cokerille lands an offer from Maryland Terrapins - ESPN
Gilman's QB, nicknamed "Tebow" - no, really - is a 2013 recruit likely to end up at safety. Maryland is his first offer, though he has interest from schools like Alabama and Notre Dame.
#1 Maryland Survives UMBC 4-3 in Double Overtime - Terrapin Station
Maryland's first game as #1 in the country was a win, but not by much.
Soccer Needs a New Home - IMS
Can't say I disagree. Ludwig isn't a bad venue, but it's not good enough for one of the top three or four programs in the country, which is what Maryland is at this point.
Coaches vs. Cancer Classic to change venues, networks in 2012 - ESPN
Maybe the rumored MD-Kentucky game at Barclays Center will be Coaches vs. Cancer? -DT
