The women's bball team takes on Georgetown tonight at 7:00 in College Park. Hopefully we win so we can have bragging rights (and because I hate Georgetown).

Lady Hoyas Getting a Little Disrespectful
Whoa, calm down there, Georgetown.
"As far as Maryland is concerned, I don't know if guys know, but we beat Tennessee earlier this season. And we've played UConn three times already," Georgetown guard Monica McNutt said Monday. "I don't think we're very concerned in terms of the legacy of a team, what a team has done." ..."We're playing the five girls that step out on the floor to match up with our five girls in uniform," she said. "I'm a local kid, so I had a chance to watch those championship teams. Marissa Coleman is not there anymore. Things have changed." ...
"You want us to be scared because we're at Maryland? We're not scared," the coach said. "We play Tennessee. We play Georgia Tech. We play UConn. We play tough opponents. I think this team is well prepared to handle anything that's thrown at it."
Is it really disrespectful? No, probably not in the very literal sense of they didn't say "we don't respect Maryland." But the tone of "because we're at Maryland," is definitely a little out there. Also, last time I checked, Maryland > GT. -BB
My take - wow. I already hate Georgetown, but now I hate them even more. I might have to go to the game tonight with signs and start chants. I hope we win by 50.

Ben B - He's a smart guy, got a 1400 on the SAT on the 1600 scale. Wonder if we can get him an academic scholarship. Oh, and:
