Maryland Terrapins-Virginia Cavaliers: The GameThread

Thank you, seniors. Especially you, Davin.

Random, Baseless Prediction: Maryland intercepts a pass, which is then challenged, barely upheld, and leads to three points. I'm going for the specificity bonus points, you see.

Prediction: I've given up actually expecting Maryland to win. I think everyone's sort of in the same boat. Maryland has talent, but Randy Edsall is Randy Edsall and the deficiencies on this team are starting to glare a bit. Virginia is on the cusp of making a bowl and have entered Phase 2 of the London Era already. Frankly, even though this is a winnable game for Maryland, I don't think too many people, if anyone, really think they have a shot.

Which, of course, is why they probably will. Let's face it: it's a rivalry game on Senior Day. Maryland should be more hyped for this game than any contest since the Miami game, and if they're not we might as well just fire Edsall now. Davin Meggett goes for a big total on his Senior Day and the Terps pull it out in a close one, 26-20.

And no, that's not "rational Ben" talking.
