Welcome, those of you who still care about football.
Gameday Reading: Previewing Maryland-Wake Forest: Two Slumping Teams Meet in Winston-Salem [Testudo] | After C.J. Brown, Maryland's quarterback options are limited [WaPo] | 2-10: Will Terps do it again? [Washington Times] | Terps looking to play spoiler [Carroll County Times] | Wake Forest looks to gain bowl eligibility with win against slumping Maryland [AP]
Random, Baseless Prediction: One of Maryland's touchdowns comes off a deflected C.J. Brown pass that falls right into a receiver's hands. A bit more random and baseless today, I feel.
Prediction: Like in many of their recent games, I do feel, for some reason, that Maryland is a good enough team to beat Wake Forest, even on the road. But I have no reason to believe they'll actually play to that level. C.J. Brown tops 100 yards both on the ground (yay!) and through the air (so?) but throws two interceptions, and Maryland's defense gets run over by Wake Forest's inconsistent ground game. I'm sticking with yesterday's 31-21 call, Wake Forest.
