Maryland-Duke Game Time, TV Info Announced: The Return to ESPN3

"He really got the ball knocked...the rush knocked...knocked....the rust knocked off him."
"He really got the ball knocked...the rush knocked...knocked....the rust knocked off him."

Well, it was fun while it lasted, right? After three of four games on real, actual TV, Maryland football returns to the internet. The ACC announced the game time and TV info for next week's games today, and Maryland-Duke will be at 6:00 on the dreaded ESPN3.

Of course, ESPN3 was likely; when you look like Maryland just did and play against Duke, your ceilings can only be so high.

At least we get a buffer game of ESPNU against Florida International this week. Maryland's last ESPN3 broadcast was hosted by the unnervingly bad Matt Sweirad and Warrick Dunn. Hopefully they'll have a new crew calling this game.

For the record, it's still not nearly as bad as last year, when ESPN3(60) could've been subtitled "The Home of Maryland Terrapins Football." The Terps were almost a weekly fixture last year. At least through five games, Maryland's had a 60% TV rate. Not bad.
