Maryland Minute 8.22.10 - Jordan Williams Gets Some Media Love

First Mock Draft For Jordan Williams: 2012
Assuming he leaves a year early, NBADraft.net is thinking he'll go #43, the 13th pick in the second round. I still think hope the most likely scenario is landing one elite big and one elite wing in 2011 and having J-Dub stick around for one more run.

Summer Session: Maryland #7, Jordan Williams on Watch List
Little low for MD. Right on for J-Dub.

Were it not for top-five pick Derrick Favors, Williams would've been the ACC's freshman of the year. But the 2011 Terrapins won't look much like the 2010 version, without seniors Greivis Vasquez, Eric Hayes and Landon Milbourne. Can Williams thrive as the team's top offensive option, along with Sean Mosley?

Nico Law Down to Five
At this point, Nico Law would be a pretty big coup for Maryland's football recruiting. He's down to Iowa, Cincy, Louisville, WVU, and Maryland.

Sterling Gibbs, USA Fall to Serbia in YOG Semi-Finals
Stupid format anyway, who plays 3-3 basketball first to 33?

In overtime Serbia hit a quick three and another basket to take a 32-27 lead with a minute to play. Sterling Gibbs answered with a driving lay-up to cut it to 32-29, but Serbia drove the lane and we were called for a touch foul which put Serbia to the line. The player made the free throw and the game was over -- remember it is the first to 33 or having the lead when time runs out.

WV Newspaper: Mountaineers Roll Against Maryland
They predict 35-17, WVU. Sadly, that's not that unbelievable. Then again, they also think that WVU is going to go 10-2, which I don't really think is all the likely, but whatever.

Hey, Another Deuce Bello Mixtape
Louisville will enjoy him. But as long as Maryland's recruiting him and he's listing us, who am I to not link to his highlights?

Recruiting Report: Lake Clifton grad Will Barton ruled eligible by NCAA
Good, I like WB5.
