Greivis Vasquez Working Out With Wizards
If Gil is traded, the Wiz will need a backup. How amazing (and also impossible) would a Wall-Vaz combo in DC be?

Terps WLax beat Orange, will play for title
Whoo! It's championship time.

Funnily enough, Cuse actually is coached by Gary Gait, who's considered a potential candidate for Maryland's MLax job. Not a great audition.

Victory: John Calipari Being Investigated...Again
Can we just say this was a great day? Good. This was a great day.

This one's in regards to Eric Bledsoe, the PG/SG that played next to John Wall. He miraculously became eligible in his senior year and reportedly received money from his HS coach (and his HS reportedly received money from the coach). I do love the coach's defense:

He said he had done nothing wrong, adding: "I’m a poor black man. And when one black man tries to help another black man, there’s always something wrong."

ACC schedule-makers smile on Virginia Tech next season
Yep: they got Duke once in Blacksburg and only have to play UNC once. Basically, don't be surprised to see the Hokies on the top of the conference.

On the flip side, if they fare worse than expected, the lighter-than-normal ACC schedule may keep them out of the tournament...again. Or at least I'd hope so.

Albany Lax Coach Wants MD Job, But Hasn't Been Contacted
Marr would be an average hire, honestly; not a disaster, but I don't see him as a "next-level" guy.

Dave Telep Questions Scholarship Strategy
This is via Twitter, so not quite poignant, but it's an interesting take from a really smart guy: why offer everyone a scholarship? It basically makes it valueless. Take that, Wake Forest! And then maybe Gary Williams' strategy makes sense.
