Today's MM is lax heavy as Cottle and Co. gear up for their rivalry match against Hopkins this Saturday.

Terps up to #4 in New Lax Poll

No surprise there.

Quint Kessenich's NCAA Lacrosse Power Rankings

QK has the Terps at #4, as well, but he's worried about their "inconsistent" defense.

Faceoff: Postscript from Navy at Maryland

The Terps are 6-0 this season when Grant Catalino notches three or more points. They're 1-2 when he has less than three.  Think of Catalino as the Greivis of the Lacrosse team.  Minus the weird facial hair and the shimmying, of course.

Former D.C. Star Deon Long Hoping for Maryland Transfer - IMS

Would be a huge get for the Terps. Long was a four star recruit, and the 2nd overall player in DC, coming out of high-school. Unfortunately, I'm not optimistic his appeal will get overturned.  Stupid West Virginia.

Could Greivis become a Trail Blazer?

Interesting take from a Portland fan who's hoping his Trail Blazers take GV in the first round. The last Terp PG in Portland worked out pretty well if I recall correctly.

Terps Baseball Gets Big Performance from Harman, Win over BC

Junior Brett Harman pitched the first complete game of the season, while striking out a career-high 12 batters as the Terps knocked off BC 4-2. Maybe things are starting to turn around a bit after a rough start to the season.

Big Events Planned for Spring Soccer Matchup vs. Rival UVA

The first is that Sasho's squad is teaming up with Justin's Quest (the kid with a brain tumor who Greivis surprised in New York).  Always good to hear Terps doing good things

The second is that the game will be broadcast live by TopDrawerSoccer.com. Its unclear how many MD games the site will broadcast this season but because most games aren't on TV, this is a pretty big development for Terp soccer fans.
