I missed the Friday MM, but it's back. I borrowed two, non-outdated links from the Friday MM that wasn't, and those two-day old links are noted.
ESPN's Player of the Week: Greivis Vasquez
Made front page of ESPN, too (or at least the college basketball section). Maryland was also a contender for team of the week. Hopefully this translates into an ACC Player of the Year push.
Does The Shot make Tucker more confident?
I hope so.
"It does wonders for a player to make a shot like that, but hopefully for Cliff down the stretch now he's a very confident player," Coach Gary Williams said. "That's what you want from the shot."
Tracking the Terps: Mosley's shooting slump
Old, but relevant. This is exactly what you want to hear.
"It just comes with playing the game of basketball," Mosley said during Friday's media availability at Comcast Center. "Every shot you take you're not going to make. When you're going through a stretch like I'm going through right now, it's kind of tough. But you've got to keep shooting. The only thing I can do is keep shooting until I make 'em."
Terp Target Andrew Buie Gets ESPN Profiled
No mention of Maryland, but Buie seems like a big-time target. Good thing we offered early.
Josh Barr - Damascus DB picks up offers from Maryland, Penn State
It's Brandon Phelps, an under-the-radar CB from Damascus. He's in the database now.
Maryland Opens Lacrosse Season With 12-7 Win
Catalino had two goals. Yeatman had one in his debut.
Torrey Smith Starting to Get Some National Attention
Torrey Smith for Heisman!
He's an exciting all-purpose player to watch, and now that C.J. Spiller has graduated, more fans might realize it. Smith led the Terps in receptions (61), receiving yards (824) and touchdowns (five). He also broke his own ACC single-season kickoff return yards mark (1,309) and the Maryland single-season all-purpose yards record (2,192).
Recruiting Report: Weekly recruiting roundup
Old, but not dated. The best news, in my opinion, are the last two links - Maryland's in Clifton Richardson's top 5 (!) and Angelo Mangiro is planning to visit College Park.
