Lots of last minute signings, news, and analysis, of the Terps class. Check back tomorrow for a full wrap up and breakdown of the class. Props to Ben B. for most of the links today. Recruiting Report: Terps' 2010 class: More from Tom Lemming Just keep reading these positive quotes. Not a surprise. Hopefully Cyrus doesn't follow. Wow, so he was wavering after all. I thought Maryland would've had a great shot. My Take: You think the Terrence Ross saga is bad? Imagine having a player commit and de-commit from your school three seperate times only to choose somewhere else. I'd love to know the story behind this guy and who's helping him make decisions.
Recruiting Report: Terps' 2010 class: More from Mike Farrell
Matt Bracken has been a recruiting report machine the last few days. He provides some more insight from Mike Farrell of Rivals.com. - Dave T.
Terps salvage recruiting class - Dinich
Indeed they did.
Recruiting Report: Superlatives for the Terps' class of 2010
Like we've said, Bracken does it again. I think linking to one guy 3 different times in a day is a new record. This time Matt does a "superlatives" for the Terps' 2010 class.- Dave T.
Greivis Vasquez On Pat Forde's POY Periphery
Surprised he's still only on the periphery.
In ACC games, he's third in the league in scoring (19 ppg) and second in assists (6.2). If the Terrapins remain in this oddly scrambled ACC race, he'll get some backing.
Jerry Meyer Compares Quinn Cook to Scottie Reynolds
Scottie Reynolds is undoubtably my favorite non-Terp in college basketball. And Dominic James before that. If Cook is like Reynolds, I'm all the more ready to make him target #1A if he isn't already.
Cook, who is the No. 20 ranked prospect in the class of 2011, gets my nod as the guard out of this group who will have the biggest impact in college. I love Cook's scoring ability and court presence. In fact, Cook reminds me a lot of Villanova star Scottie Reynolds. Cook is a sharp ballhandler and proficient shot-maker. He also has some moxy - similar to Reynolds.
Lacrosse - Terps happy without high expectations
Well, yeah, they definitely have some lowered expectations (ranked 8th in IL's first poll). Time to shock the world.
In The News: Maryland’s John Gilchrist Out For Season – LostLettermen.com
The folks over at Lost Lettermen.com sent us this story on Gilchrist. Apparently he was doing well in Australia but just tore his ACL. I wish he was ACC tourney Gilchrist his Jr year and that he stayed his Sr. year. We wouldn't have missed the tourney. - Dave T.
