Four Terps Named to All-ACC First Team

The ACC released the 2010 All-ACC teams earlier today. You'll never guess who led the way: Maryland's four first-team selections tied with Clemson for the most of any team in the conference. Lot of talent on this team.

Torrey Smith, Tony Logan (as a returner), Alex Wujciak, and Kenny Tate all made the first team. Joe Vellano was a second-teamer at defensive tackle. Senior lineman Paul Pinegar received a nice gesture as an honorable mention.

At the beginning of the season, only Wujciak and Smith were on the preseason list. Only two Terps made it last year (again, Wujciak and Smith). That four got the call this year, plus another on the second team, is pretty nice indeed.

When you consider that only Wujciak and Pinegar are the only two of the six that are graduating next year, things look pretty bright. Hopefully Smith and Tate stick around for one more awesome year.

Congrats to all six on their achievements.
